   RTL15竖式熔铜炉是铜材连铸连轧生产机组的一个重要组成部分,它以天然气或液化石油气为燃料,能高效率地将电解铜板等炉料熔化成低含氧量的铜液并暂存在保温炉中随时供给后续的连铸连轧机使用。

  RTL-15竖式熔铜炉由翻斗式加料机、竖式熔铜炉、流槽、除渣室、卧式保温炉及相关控制系统组成;

  1.翻斗式加料机的功能是将电解铜板等炉料装入竖式熔铜炉。一次最大装料量为1 吨,料斗上升速度为6 /分

  2.竖式熔铜炉由炉底、炉体及烟囱三大部分组成,其中炉体又分上、中、下三节。炉体上节为炉料接纳口;炉体中节的内侧固定着铜块,以防加入的炉料撞坏炉体;炉体的下节是熔铜炉的主体,内侧衬砌着二层耐火砖,圆周方向布置着若干只大烧咀,下节的一侧开有一个出铜口并与流槽相衔接,使熔化的铜液及时地经过流槽进入保温炉。炉底也砌有耐火砖,耐火砖上平面向出铜口方向倾斜;

  3.流槽是熔铜炉与保温炉的铜液传输通道,内侧用耐火料捣打而成,其结构为封闭式,并安装有若干小烧咀,以使铜液在传榆过程中保持适当的温度;

4.除渣室位于流槽末端及保温炉的进铜口之间,其截面积明显大于流槽的截面积,除渣室的侧上方敞开,容腔后侧(邻近保温炉)的上部有一块挡渣砖,以便挡住熔渣使之不流进保温炉并便于将它们及时捞出;

5.卧式保温炉有一个卧式钢质圆筒形炉体,内侧衬砌着耐火砖,并配置有一只大烧咀。炉体的进铜口与出铜口在一根轴线上,该轴线与炉体的几何轴线相平行,偏心距约为460毫米,该轴线既是保温炉的旋转中心,且与水平面又有一个4.76°的俯角,因此,当保温炉在一个液压油缸的作用下作适当角度的旋转时,既能使保温炉存放多达6 吨的铜液,也可以将所存的铜液按所需要的速度全部倒光(提供给后续的连铸连轧机)。

Type RTL-15 shaft furnace is an important part of continuous casting and rolling system for copper product. The furnace is fueled by natural gas or LPG. It can melt furnace charge such as cathode copper plate and so on into liquid copper with lower oxygen-content and store it temporarily in a holding furnace to provide it to succeeding continuous rolling machine or other equipment.

Type RTL-15 shaft furnace is composed of a skip cart loader,a shaft melting furnace,a launder,a tilting slag vessel,a holding furnace and their control devices.

1.Skip cart loader serves the fuction of loading furnace charge such as cathode copper plate into shaft melting furnace .Its Max. loading capacity is one ton per time.Lifting speed is 6m/minutes.

2.Shaft melting furnace is composed of furnace bottom,furnace body and chimney.The furnace body is consisted of a upper,a middle and a lower part.

The upper part serves as entrance of furnace charge.In order to prevent furnace body may be damaged by furnace charge, some copper blocks are fit on the inner surface of body’s middle part.The body’s lower part is the main part of melting furnace.On its inner,there are two layers of fire brick and several gas nozzles spread along the circumference.At one side of body’s lower part,there is an exit of liquid copper with it liquid copper can be flowed in time into a holding furnace through a launder and a tilting slag vessel.

On the furnace bottom,a layer of fire bricks are built.Upper surface of the layer is inclined to exit of liquid copper.

3.Lauder is a way by which liquid copper flows from shaft melting furnace to holding furnace.Launder is closed structurally and constructed with a kind of refractory lining mixture.There are several gas nozzles in the lauder so as to keep temperatures of liquid copper at a suitable level.

4.Tilting slag vessel is situated between the end of lauder and entrance of holding furnace.Section area of the tilting slag vessel is larger remarkably than that of lauder.For the convenience of stop and elimination of slag,there is a stopping brick at back part of the vessel.

5.Holding furnace has a cylindrical steel body.In the body,many fire-bricks were lined and a gas nozzle was fit.Entrance and exit of the holding furnace are at a same axis and the axis is parallel to the geometric axis of the furnace body.Distance between above two axes is about 460mm.The axis of entrance and exit is the axis of rotation and it also has a 4.76°angle of depresstion to horizontal line.When the holding furnace was been rotated suitably by a hydraulic piston,liquid copper in the furnace not only can be stored up to 8 tons but also can be flowed off wholly according a requiring speed(provide to follow-up continuous casting and rolling machine).
